For our customer we are looking for an expert (w / m / d) for Trellix Endpoint Security. Framework data: Start: asap Duration: 30.04.2026 + + Utilization: if possible in full time Place of use: Berlin, Würzburg, approx. 80% remote Tasks: The consultant (w / m / d) takes over the planning, implementation and documentation of the migration from Symantec Endpoint Protection to Trellix Endpoint Security. The role requires deep technical know-how in endpoint security products, migration strategies and policy management. Main tasks: - Analysis of the existing Symantec environment: recording of current configuration, policies and system architecture. - planning of migration: creating a migration plan including schedule, risk analysis and rollback strategy. - Installation and configuration of Trellix ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO): setting up the central management platform and connecting the clients. - policy transfer and adaptation: export / import of guidelines, adaptation to Trellix standards. - Deployment and testing: roll out of Trellix agents and modules (ENS, Threat Prevention, Firewall, Web Control), perform functional tests. - Incident management and optimization: analysis of threats, updates of data files, continuous improvement of security configuration. - Documentation and transfer: production of operating documentation and training of the operating team. Skills: - knowledge of endpoint security products: Symantec Endpoint Protection and Trellix Endpoint Security (ENS, ePO). - experience with migrations: export / import of policies, system tree, client tasks and reports. - Operating systems & networks: informed knowledge in Windows servers - and client environments, Active Directory, network protocols. - Scripting & Automation: PowerShell, Batch, Python for the automation of deployment processes. - Security & Compliance: Understanding IT security policies, vulnerability management (e.g. Tenable Nessus).
