Background:
A design system is developed in the organization unit. It consists of a design guide / styleguide- part as well as the appropriate implementation in the form of a CSS library and web components. Future projects should focus on the technical implementation of the surfaces and not invest again in design guides and UI technology. Critical success factors are meeting accessibility requirements, ensuring framework independence, covering the required IT security and a long-term stable look & feel for later users. The work is done with agile methods. The web surfaces are implemented with Web Components (HTML5, TypeScript, CSS3) and must be accessible.
As part of a "Proof of Concept" (PoC), the integration of the developed Design Pattern Library into a low-code platform is to be demonstrated. On the basis of the analysis results from the PoC, the implementation work will then be carried out.
In the role as senior developer of web technologies, three main areas of work need to be covered: mainly development, minimum architectural aspects and cooperation with the provider of the low-code platform. The tool chain includes common tools for documentation, task management, version control, development and quality assurance.
