For our customer we are looking for several Java developers backend and / or full stack (m / w / d) in the insurance sector.

Place of use: approx. 98% remote, possibly 5 days in Essen (NRW)

* * Tasks * *
1. Development, maintenance and maintenance of enterprise applications in the Java environment
2. Implementation of features and user stories including technical clarification, specification and implementation
3. Development and extension of interfaces (REST, also SOAP, depending on the project)
4. Database-related development including SQL analysis and optimization
5. Implementation of automated tests (unit / integration tests) and active cooperation in code reviews
6. Performance optimization and sustainable error resolution (Troubleshooting, debugging, log analysis)

1. Multiannual experience in Java (Enterprise)
2. Spring boat or Java EE / JEE
3. REST APIs (interface development)
4. databases (MySQL, MongoDB, OracleDB; SQL very good (DB2 of advantage, but not mandatory)
5. Testing (e.g. JUnit, Cucumber, JMeter) and code review practice
6. Version management (Git o.a.)
7. German knowledge
