Job description:
For our customer we are looking for an AWS DevEx / Cloud Engineer (Technical Coach) (m / w / d):
In this project you take a central role in coaching an existing team hand-on and consistently anchor the DevEx- standards on AWS in the delivery. They are pragmatic in implementing impulses from an upstream enablement / assessment format (PET) and ensure that recommendations make better delivery pipelines measurable.
The focus is on AWS Infrastructure-as-Code (CDK / TypeScript), GitLab CI, and a Windows-loaded EC2 setup including. Image Baking via Systems Manager Documents and RDS (MS SQL).

Location: 99% remote; about 3 days / year on site in Frankfurt am Main
Your tasks:
- Technical coaching of the team (Pair
- & Mob- Programming, Best Practices, Enablement)
- Optimization and stabilisation of existing GitLab CI delivery pipelines
- Implementation of infrastructure as code with AWS CDK (TypeScript)
- Automations / integrations with AWS SDK (Python)
- EC2 Windows Image Baking via AWS Systems Manager Documents
- Operation / development of RDS (MS SQL) components
- Scripting & automation in the window environment with Python and PowerShell
Your experience & knowledge
- Multiannual experience with AWS (in particular CDK / TypeScript, EC2, Systems Manager, RDS)
- Strong CI / CD- expertise with GitLab CI and pipeline optimization
- Very good knowledge in Python (including AWS Python SDK / boto3)
- Very good knowledge in PowerShell and Windows Server
- Practice in Pair
- & Mob- Programming as well as coaching / enablement in the team
