**Backround**
The client is seeking proposals for consultants to assist with the evaluation, implementation, and adoption of enterprise-grade large language model (LLM) solutions. The consultants will provide expert guidance and hands-on support throughout the entire implementation lifecycle, from initial assessment to full deployment and user adoption, wit particular emphasis on leading-edge LLM solutions that demonstrate superior reasoning capabilities and safety features.
**Key responsibilities and tasks**
The consultant(s) will be responsible for developing and implementing AI solutions that address the unique challenges of investment management, financial operations and supporting areas. The consultant will create implementation strategies that align with investment management workflows and develop specific use cases for i.e. portfolio analysis, risk assessment, and trading optimization.
The role encompasses creating and executing training programs for technical teams and investment professionals, establishing best practices for prompt engineering in financial contexts, and developing proof-of-concept implementations for investment-specific applications. The consultant will advise on security practices that meet financial industry standards and assist with performance optimization for handling market data and portfolio analytics.
A crucial aspect of the role involves facilitating direct communication channels with LLM solution providers for product feedback and feature requests. The consultant will contribute to product roadmap discussions, focusing on features and capabilities needed for investment management applications, and establish feedback loops for continuous product improvement in financial use cases.
**Main qualifications and skills required**
The ideal candidate will combine deep expertise in advanced AI systems with extensive financial sector experience. Their qualifications should include:
_**Investment Management Expertise:**_
The consultant must possess comprehensive knowledge of investment management operations, demonstrated through experience with portfolio management systems, trading platforms, and financial optimization problems. This includes understanding of market microstructure, portfolio construction techniques, and risk management frameworks.
_**Technical and AI Expertise:**_
The candidate should demonstrate proven deep expertise with leading constitutional AI systems, particularly those emphasizing safety and reliability. This includes direct experience implementing and optimizing enterprise deployments of advanced conversational AI models, established relationships with major AI research organizations, and demonstrated ability to influence product roadmaps. A strong background in AWS infrastructure, cloud services, and experience with vector databases and API integrations is required.
_**Financial Technology Integration:**_
Experience integrating AI solutions with financial systems is crucial, including working knowledge of market data systems, order management systems, and portfolio management platforms. The consultant should understand how to apply AI technologies to financial analysis, risk assessment, and trading optimization problems.
_**Industry Knowledge and Compliance:**_
A thorough understanding of financial sector regulations, investment management operations, and market structure is required. The consultant should have experience implementing technolog solutions that meet the stringent security and compliance requirements of the financial sector.
**Additional Required Qualifications:**
* Minimum 5 years of experience in enterprise software implementation within the financial sector
* Proven track record of successful enterprise AI implementations in investment management
* Deep understanding of AI security requirements specific to financial applications
* Experience with prompt engineering optimization

* Expertise in change management
* Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills
