Backend Developer (.NET)
Job description:
For our client Volvo Cars we are looking for a **Backend Developer.** Volvo Cars transforming from a traditional manufacturing company to a disruptive force using new technology and they are looking for you who can contribute and be a part of a software development team. **Background:** This is an organization with the purpose providing an end-to-end solution for the development and maintenance of embedded features for future vehicles. The tool you will be working with is an in-house developed tool for assisting in configuring software for download into vehicles. **Job Description:** You will be part of a DevOps software development team that is focused on agile way of working. You will be working in close collaboration with end users, business analysts and other teams and implement Backend capabilities for a tool that facilitates one of the most important steps in Volvo Cars CI/CD and configuration management process. **Main responsibilities:** * Develop new features and functionalities according to agreed up on patterns and clean code & best practices. * Always apply a DevOps mindset using agile/scrum methodologies. * Address requirements regarding features and participate in solution discussions within the team. * Ensure ownership of the application and be part of the daily operations/support. **Job Requirements/Required Qualifications (Must have):** * M.Sc. or B.Sc. degree in field of Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent ( IT yrkeshögskola ). * At least 5 years of documented work experience in working with backend. * GIT, GITHub/Azure DevOps * .NET, Visual Studio, C#, ASP .Net Core * Entity framework or Nhibernate * Kubernetes experience * SQL knowledge **Preferable to have:** * Hands-on experience of Azure Cloud e.g. Azure Application Insights, Azure Databases * Experience working with distributed systems(microservices) * Experience with Docker containers * Experience with setting up/working with Helm charts * Experience working in an DevOps environment where the team both develops functionality and support the end users. **Personal Profile:** * A team player with good interpersonal skills and ability to be self-sufficient. * Good communication skills, including a high proficiency in spoken and written English. * Flexible and able to adapt quickly to changing business requirements. * Structured way of working. _Please note!
