BE Developer - Election Data System (VDS)

Job description:

For our customer SVT we are looking for a BE developer.
Backend developers to join the EU elections in 2024!
SVT needs two developers to further develop SVT’s internal Valdata system for the European elections in May 2024.
The assignment involves joining the VDS team (two consultants and a SVT-PO) with the task of further developing SVT’s Valdatasystem (VDS). The system continuously collects election results from the Election Authority and reworks and distributes it internally on SVT to various services/products/team via an API.
The current system needs to be revised, both because the Electoral Authority changes the format of election data for each choice, and because the current system does not meet current testability requirements.
The VDS team shall also be responsible for keeping together the tests of the SVT selection data flow, up to the respective internal service that uses the data.
**Competency requirements**:
Backend developers should have clients within:
Java/Kotlin, SpringBoot
At least one of the approved consultants must have the following knowledge:
Linuxvana
Dev-ops (AWS)
Virtualization (e.g. Vagrant), Docker
Data analysis/calculations
Python
SQL
