Job description:
**We are looking for 6-8 cloud experts to join our client's team in crafting the cloud infrastructures of tomorrow!**
You are an excellent teammate with hands-on experience in developing, managing, and operating cloud infrastructure solutions and related technologies, such as Kubernetes, ClusterAPI, and Ceph. You have a genuine interest in becoming the best in this domain and to evolve related technologies further
- individually and as part of a team. You work with or as part of Open Source team that works with Kubernetes and various other CNCF (Cloud Native Computing Foundation) projects.
Your role will include all development activities such as: requirement analysis, system design, architecture design, software design, security, integration, verification, tools design and naturally being part of the open source community and their meetups.
**Skills and Qualifications**
Must have all:
· Minimum years of relevant experience: 5 years
· Domain experience: Kubernetes, Metal3, containerd, Ceph, Rook, Software-Defined Storage
· Product development knowledge and Product Lifecycle Management knowledge
· Software development, ability to write code and willingness to learn new things
· Proficient coding skills in Golang, Python and C/C++,
· Knowledge of automation tools such as Ansible, Bash, Python
· Knowledge of Git, Gerrit, Jenkins, and Prow
Must have more than one and may have more:
· Knowledge in more than one of the following areas:
· Lifecycle management of Kubernetes, Container orchestration infrastructure platforms
· Networking, HTTP(S), TCP/IP and other relevant Internet protocols
- Application and solution development using Linux Containers, Docker etc.
· Deep understanding of distributed storage systems, consensus algorithms, databases, and Linux architecture
· Experience operating hands-on as a storage admin
· Consistent record working with technologies such as Ceph and Rook
· Experience in working as part of the open-source community
· Genuine interest to work with Kubernetes, CNCF and other Open Source Communities

**Start:** In January/February 2024
**Duration:** 6 month initial agreement with the possibility of extension for several years

**Location:** Kirkkonummi, Finland (Helsinki metropolitan area)
**Hybrid working:** Team works 2 days per week at the office, so please note that the candidates must be based in Finland
