For our client we are looking for a **Cobol/Mainframe & Java Developer.**
This role contributes to the transformation of the company, the transport industry, and society at large.
Bit by bit, a monolith solution is being transformed into a modern cloud-native microservice architecture. The work involves a mix of modernization, development of new functionality according to the new target architecture, and some adjustments of the current client.

One of four product teams is responsible for developing and maintaining the core application within the product development area – the heart of product documentation. Team members come from different backgrounds, genders, and experiences. The environment encourages open communication and a helpful mindset. This role plays a key part in an agile team, striving to adopt DevSecOps practices.

* Deep knowledge in Mainframe & Cobol
* DB2 knowledge
* Integration experience, using MQ
* Knowledge about security standards
* Experience from working with Java development, full stack
* Hands-on experience from working in an agile team with excellent knowledge in Agile methodologies and ceremonies
* Hands-on experience from mainframe legacy modernization projects
And that you are fluent in English (both speaking and writing), and preferably Swedish as well.
**NICE TO HAVE…**
* Knowledge in asynchronous programming, microservice architecture, cloud services and test automation frameworks
* Business Analytical skills and experience
