**About this project**
Responsible for designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines and infrastructure to ensure the efficient and reliable flow of data from various sources to Cognite Data Fusion platform. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, understanding data requirements, and implementing solutions to enable effective data integration and analytics.
**Work tasks**
* Identify relevant data sources for business needs and collect structured and unstructured data.
* Develop and maintain data pipelines for extracting, transforming, and loading (ETL) data into Cognite Data Fusion from various sources.
* Work on data modelling and contextualization to ensure that data is structured and enriched with the necessary metadata for meaningful analysis within the Cognite Data Fusion platform.
* Collaborate with data scientists, domain experts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions aligned with business objectives.
* Support the cross-disciplinary DataOps team to set up data infrastructure and develop, implement, and maintain databases in the company.
**Required qualifications**
* 3-5 years’ experience
* Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field
* Strong mathematical & numeracy skills
* Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in data engineering (e.g., Python, Java, SQL)
* Familiarity with Cognite Data Fusion or similar industrial data platforms.
* Strong understanding of data modelling and metadata management.
* Knowledge of industrial data sources and domain-specific challenges is a plus.
* Experience and knowledge of agile working methods are considered beneficial.
* Fluent in written and spoken English
