Data Engineer
Job description:
We're looking for a data engineer for a Swedish client to join a team within Energy Monitoring (Sustainability). Tasks include: Secure Data Inflow: Ensure that incoming data is safe from unauthorized access or tampering. Validate Data: Check the authenticity, quality, and completeness of incoming data, fixing any errors or gaps. Establish Validation Gates: Set up checkpoints to verify data integrity and consistency. Monitor and Alert: Keep an eye on data streams and receive automatic alerts for any anomalies or issues. Create Visual Interface: Develop and maintain a user-friendly interface for easy data interpretation. Ensure Data Accessibility: Make sure that stakeholders can access the data securely and reliably. Support Onboarding: Assist new countries in adopting consistent naming conventions and validation rules for smooth integration. We'd like to see experience from: Database Management: Strong understanding of SQL for relational databases and familiarity with NoSQL databases like MongoDB. Big Data Tools: Experience with BigQuery and other tools for processing and analyzing large datasets. Cloud Platforms: Knowledge of GCP (Google Cloud Platform) or/and Azure for data storage, processing, and analysis. AI Awareness: Understanding of AI concepts and its applications in data analysis. Machine Learning: Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and techniques for predictive analytics. Programming Proficiency: Programming skills, particularly in Python, for data manipulation and analysis. Data Visualization: Ability to create visually appealing and informative reports using tools like Power BI.
