For Tetra Pak we are looking for a Data Scientist or Data engineer within the field of Predictive Maintenance.
Within Tetra Pak’s Next Generation Service team, we are driving a relaunch of Asset Health Monitoring AND Predictive Maintenance to accelerate Tetra Pak’s digital transformation. In order to re-imagine our flexible, secure, and scalable cloud-based Internet of Things (IoT) platform we are looking for an Asset Health Monitoring Data Scientist.
In this role, you will report to the Asset Health Monitoring Manager. The location is ideally in Lund, Sweden.
**Your daily tasks may include:**
* You will drive development and continuous improvement that enables our business to connect to thousands of equipment in a secure, scalable and flexible way, with a focus on data analysis
* You will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and optimize algorithms using both conventional methods and as well as Machine Learning/AI tools, leveraging Tetra Pak equipment knowledge for predictive maintenance, condition monitoring and machine health monitoring
* You will design, write, test and assist in implementing highly scalable and robust software to fit a variety of Food & beverage industrial equipment such as Homogenizers, Pasteurizers, Heat exchangers, Mixers, Freezers and more within the Tetra Pak portfolio
* You will collaborate closely with our global back-end teams, front-end developers and business owners to ensure system consistency, improve user experience and data-to-insight reliability
* You will explore different ways of integrating the solution into the Tetra Pak data ecosystem
* You will use your digital skillset to identify patterns and anomalies in equipment data, converting these insights into meaningful metrics for senior management, operators, service engineers and developers alike
**Required skills:**
* A Bachelor's degree, MSc or PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Technology or related field
* Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, Scala, and tools such as Jira, DevOps, Git, or similar software and cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
* At least 5 years of work experience within the data analysis field with demonstrated achievements
* A strong technical foundation with the ability to bridge the gap between data and insights, effectively “making sense of data” for a large group of end-users
* Extensive experience with data: cleaning, aggregation and visualization
* Demonstrated expertise with signal processing, including techniques for analyzing, filtering and interpreting. Experience with applying Machine Learning and AI on top of this is a strong plus
* Previous experience in an Agile working environment is highly valued
* The ability to work effectively in a global team setting, as well as independently, with a focused drive and commitment
* An interest in hardware, mechanical systems and how it relates to the above will be meritious

* You understand the link between technical activities and business implications.
