Tasks: The "Information Platform of Energy Networks (iPEN)" ensures that the data of regional units can be centrally bundled and made available. Existing and newly developed intelligent solutions are connected to the iPEN platform. In this way, they can be rolled out inexpensively, quickly and flexibly throughout the entire “network community”. The platform bundles data from our smart grids and standardized systems and is the central enabler for scaling intelligent solutions. iPEN has a central, connecting function in the Energy Networks Big Picture Digital. As part of the iPEN platform, the media data platform ensures the standardized storage, provision and processing of media data such as satellite data, drone data, images and point clouds. The developer takes over the following tasks within the Media Data Squad, in the Media Data Platform product: * Development and maintenance of routines for metadata extraction from media data * Creation and management of data processing routines for grids - and vector data sets (e.g. reprojection, photogrammetry, merging) * Construction and operation of (geo) databases * Construction and operation of (geo-)APIs and services * Conception, construction, management and maintenance of microservice architectures with terraform, Kubernetes, Django * Integration and management of cloud resources/infrastructure in the context of MicrosoV Azure * Continuous integration and deployment - CI/CD) Qualification: * extensive experience in remote sensing (optical, radar...) * Multiannual work in agile teams * extensive knowledge in the development of REST APIs * Experience in the development and operation of web applications related to spatial data sets (Raster, Vector, Point Clouds) * Construction and support of (spatial) web services * Test experience in the context of Python Python - must have * TypeScript - nice to have **Cloud technologies** * Kubernetes - must have * Docker - must have * Terraform - must have * Azure Application Registration and Management - must have * Azure Storage SDK / Datalake Gen2 - must have **Frameworks/Libraries** * Django, Django Rest Framework - must have * GDAL at grid - and Vectordata processing - must have * PDAL at Pointcloud processing - must have * PostgreSQL/PostGIS - must have Pytest - must have * React - nice to have
