Disaster Recovery -consultant

Job description:

Although the heading may make it sound a bit _dramatic_, there's no disaster 
- **yet**. This case is about helping a company prepare for one. A major international client is seeking to improve their Disaster Recovery practices and is currently in search of a consultant to assist in handling the enhancement of their DR strategies. You'll work with multiple business units, each with their own quirks and features, and start designing and implementing DR solutions.
Your tasks could include:
* Communicating with various stakeholders to plan how the reform should be carried out. Which are critical objectives, and what are their priorities.
* Ensure technology solutions are aligned with business expectations as identified by RTO and RPO
* Plan scheduled disaster recovery exercises, table top exercises and bubble tests
* Develop and maintain viable emergency notification plans
* Provide ongoing feedback for risk management, mitigation and prevention
You're likely going to need some of these skills to succeed:
* DR management & Change management processes
* ITIL process framework
* Familiarity with best practices regarding DR scenarios
* Infrastructure knowledge regarding network designs, storage solutions, backup & restore solutions.

Language: English. Knowledge of German would be beneficial.
Start: January
Duration: 12 months
Allocation: 50% for the first 3 months, and 100% for the rest of the year.
