Job description:
**For our client in the banking sector we are looking for a Front-End Developer.** **Description of the tasks** * Working with business users to develop the overall look and design of our websites * Ensuring that user experience determines design choices * Developing features to enhance the user experience * Ensuring web design is optimized for multiple platforms – laptops and smartphones * Striking a balance between functional and aesthetic design * Building reusable code for future use * Optimizing web pages for maximum speed and scalability * Utilizing a variety of markup languages to write web pages * Maintaining brand consistency throughout design **Must-have knowledge and experience** * 5 - years of hands-on experience as a Front-End Developer * High competence with the Angular framework * Proficiency with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery * Understanding of server-side CSS/SCSS * Understanding of key design principles * Experience with graphic design applications such as Adobe Illustrator * Experience with responsive and adaptive design * Understanding of SEO principles * Good problem-solving skills * Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to explain complex concepts clearly * Good interpersonal skills * Willingness to take responsibility * Goal-oriented with a proven track record of delivering results **Nice-to-have knowledge and experience** * Nordea experience * Experience with Credit Customer Journeys **Location:** Helsinki, Finland (hybrid, 2-3 days on-site) **Allocation:** 100% **Start date:** 2.3.2026 **End date:** 26.2.2027 **Language:** Fluent in English Please note!
