To our customer ** Swedavia is looking for a ** Fullstack Data Engineer** with experience in Databricks and dbt to their BI/Analytics team. The team manages and develops Swedavia’s data
- and analytics platform providing data from a variety of central systems at our airports.
Swedavia is actively working to create the airports of the future and has several transfers to take airports to the target image 2030 in digital transformation where data-driven operations are an important component. Through the transformation, Swedavia will enable data to be converted into insights and increase the degree of automation as well as opportunities for predictive work to improve travel experience as well as streamline and optimize flows and processes at the airports.**As Data Engineer, you are responsible for designing, developing and maintaining data pipelines in Azure Databricks. You develop and manage data products with dbt and ensure smooth data transfer and set of data contracts. You automate deployment, version management via CI/CD pipelines and automatic tests and ensure security, scalability, performance and quality in data flows. In some solutions, you are working on the transformation and modelling of data and that the reports and dashboards managed by BI meet the needs of the business and maintain the standard.
We are in an ongoing migration to a new platform in Azure Databricks (in combination with dbt) where part of the team works with migrating existing data to the new platform. In parallel, the needs of other ongoing projects come within the framework of our 2030 target image. This role is intended to work in one of our strategically important projects with the aim of creating an operational location for the airport’s ecosystem. The project will continue until the end of 2027.

You have a strong technical foundation and experience in building data lakehouse solutions. You are used to working on established frameworks and structures and have a practical understanding of how to create robust and scalable solutions. With a combination of technical expertise and a good understanding of business processes, you contribute to building robust data solutions and developing insightful visualizations that support decisions. Hence, both technical and business skills are of great importance.
