Fullstack Developer

Job description:

A company within the gaming industry is launching a new greenfield product, and are looking for a Fullstack developer. The initial period is until the end of 2025, but the client is looking for a longer commitment for 2026 too. You’ll be part of an agile team, contributing to both backend and frontend development while working with cloud-based infrastructure. The role is quite versatile, as seen on the following criteria.
**Mandatory Requirements:**
* At least four years of work experience in software development projects in a lead or senior developer role.
* Two years of experience in implementing backend system services using JVM-based programming languages (Kotlin, Java, Scala, or Clojure).
* Two years of experience in developing software services on Google Cloud or Amazon AWS platforms.
* The experience may be split between the two.
* Experience in programmatic provisioning of cloud platform services using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation).
* Two years of experience in frontend development using React
* Fluent in both Finnish and English.
**Scored Criteria:**
* Development of software based on a multi-tenant architecture.
* Implementation of transactional and transaction-safe backend system services using JVM-based programming languages (Kotlin, Java, Scala, or Clojure).
* Utilizing Google Cloud or Amazon AWS platforms in software development, as well as using IaC tools for cloud environment provisioning.
* Design, management, and configuration of relational databases.
* Modern web technologies, such as TypeScript, React, Express.

**Specs:**
Location: Helsinki, some on-site is expected
Duration: Until end of 2025, with options for entire 2026.
