We are looking for an IT Analyst (Data Engineering & Analytics) for our client in the banking sector.
**Detailed description of work task to be carried out** Help to resolve data-intensive decisioning problems through application of data processing and modelling. Provide insights and recommendations through data analysis. Contribute to driving intelligent automation through algorithmic and model-based solutions. Location requires physical presence is Helsinki, Finland, which is non-negotiable. **Must-have knowledge and experience** \* Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science or Engineering \* Ability to translate complex technical data into clear recommendations for non-technical audiences \* Demonstrated experience designing and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines in production environments \* Experience implementing or working within Medallion Architecture (Bronze-Silver-Gold) \* Familiarity with compliance-aware CI/CD practices \* Understanding of data governance principles in production contexts \* Prior work in a regulated industry (finance or healthcare) \* Strong proficiency in Python and SQL for data engineering tasks \* Familiarity with at least one IaC framework \* Ability to produce clear technical documentation that enables cross-team data reuse **Nice-to-have knowledge and experience** \* Experience with large, cross-domain data \* Experience with Apache Spark, Kafka, Hadoop, Hive, Impala or Snowflake **Allocation:** 100%
