We are seeking an experienced Java Backend Developer in the insurance field.

Start: January 2025

Duration: 6 months with an option for extension

Workload: Full-time / 5 days a week

Location: 90% remote, 10% Cologne

Type of contract: Staff leasing

Tasks:

* Perform planned and unplanned tasks to ensure smooth application operation
* Troubleshoot and optimize applications, and take proactive measures for system stability
* Participate in lifecycle activities for operating systems, infrastructure, and frameworks, including maintenance, updates, and optimization
* Collaborate with other teams to design efficient business and development processes

Qualification:

* In-depth knowledge of Linux and basic understanding of Windows systems
* Experience in Java programming, particularly in migration projects
* Git for version control and teamwork
* Solid knowledge of databases
* Understanding of infrastructure and operating system topics with a focus on client-server architectures
* Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
* Autonomous work and teamwork ability
