Job description:
Most of our products, applications and infrastructure use the Ubuntu operating system. In order to operate our product landscape at the current stage, migration to the Ubuntu version 22/24 must take place during the remainder of the year. The modernisation and automation of our infrastructure landscape includes:
- Planning and coordination with stakeholders
- uninterrupted migration in various environments
- Hardening according to DB Minimum requirements
- Checking and, where appropriate, adjustments in monitoring
**The services are carried out by the contractor (service provider) in consultation with the team.**
- Modernization of Puppet Configuration Management
- Transfer of VMs
- Revision of existing systems
- Ensure successful migration through monitoring
**Muss requirements:**
* Knowledge in at least two of the following languages: (at least 10 years of practical experience are comprehensible in the CV): Bash, Perl, Python, PHP
* Experience with Puppet (version 3, 5, 7) as configuration management system (min. 5 years)
* Experience in handling CI/CD tools and build pipelines: (at least 8 years): Jenkins and/or Gitlab
* Secure handling of VMware (minimum 10 years)
* Experience in migration projects (OS migration in ongoing operation, Puppet migration) (minimum 10 years)
* Professional experience in the following areas: (minimum 10 years)
Administration of Linux systems (CentOS, Ubuntu), Docker as container management, firewall, network (TCP/IP)
**Requirements:**
* SQL experience and administration skills (at least 15 years): MySQL, PostgreSQL
* Knowledge in the following areas: FreeIPA Indentity Management System, Webserver/Loadbalancer Haproxy, Apache, Nginx, Monitoring with CheckMK (minimum 10 years )
* Experience in handling the following programs: Jira, Confluence (minimum 10 years)
* Experience with version management (git) (at least 15 years)
* Privacy knowledge (GDPR) and knowledge of secure communication (minimum 10 years)
* Know-how in the environment of mobility companies, logistics or experience in the public sector or The Commission's proposal for a Directive on the approximation of the laws of the Member States relating to the approximation of the laws, regulations and administrative provisions of the Member States relating to the approximation of the laws, regulations and administrative provisions of the Member States. (at least 5 years)
