**For our client, a Scandinavian pharmaceutical company, we realize a recruitment process on the position Principal Data Engineer**
- Experience with creating and maintaining ELT/ETL pipelines on cloud infrastructure.
- Experience with programming languages like Python and SQL.
- Experience working with containers and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes for deployments.
- Experience with CI/CD automation.
- Experience working in AWS (or Azure).
- Preferably experience working with ElasticSearch.
- Preferably experience working with vector databases, e.g. Milvus.
- Future outlook; as databases and number of users grow the ops become more important and block everyone when they fail
- so that I think is important skill for this role. Also security, usage monitoring e.g., for ec2 instances, code vulnerabilities
- those will come as well.

You will join 15 dedicated colleagues within the Scientific Intelligence department, which offers a centralised hub of external information as well as tools and technologies to extract data and insights to users across worldwide at headquarter and affiliates.
Our purpose is to provide modern digital solutions to the organisation and to ensure that researchers have seamless access to quality information sources, state of the art technologies and professional information research services supporting their needs.
Scientific Intelligence is a part of a new area, Digital Research & Intelligence (DRI), established to provide a modern scientific intelligence, drive external collaborations and access to emerging technologies in the digital space of drug discovery, facilitate idea maturation, and develop an educational framework to drive our digital journey.
Digital & Research Intelligence is part of Digital Science & Innovation (DSI), which was recently established to drive digitalisation across R&ED. DSI participates in drug development projects across the value chain, from early discovery to pre-clinical development
