We are seeking an experienced product manager to support an international rail vehicle manufacturer.

Tasks:

* Develop and implement a comprehensive product data management system, including requirements management, CAx, PDM, bill of materials management, and interfaces to ERP systems, industrial engineering, and service.
* Create and maintain independent classification concepts for material data.
* Manage the Engineering Bill of Materials (eBOM) and control release management in Rolling Stock Engineering.
* Define framework conditions for part management and support users in its implementation.
* Advise project teams on structuring data systems, central data exchange with consortium partners, or importing supplier data.
* Design the introduction of PLM tool Teamcenter in engineering and drive its further development forward.
* Develop a structure for tool support and coordinate Power Users within Teamcenter.
* Conduct in-depth data analyses, create informative reports, and present results for continuous improvement.

Profile:

* Master's or diploma degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or electrical engineering.
* Long-term professional experience in developing complex products.
* Comprehensive understanding of efficient development processes and workflows and how they can be supported by PLM tools.
* Experience in conceiving, implementing, and further developing PLM systems (ideally Siemens Teamcenter).
* Fundamental experience and secure handling of PLM systems.
* Negotiation-safe English skills, as well as good German skills (ideally).
