Product Specialist
Job description:
We’re looking for an experienced Product Specialist for a Swedish client in the furniture business. You will be joining the clients MarTech product suite. Marketing Activation mission is to: \-Attract new customers, drive visitation & create engaging relationships, by creating personalized experiences in customers’ journeys (from inspiration to integration). Context: The world around the client has changed, requiring them to catch up and take back control of how and when we engage with their customers. There's an acceleration journey, worth multi billion incremental revenue over the coming years. To enable that they need accelerate and future proof the MarTech stack and thus the Marketing Activation product function. Simply put: They send messages. To nudge customers back on their buying journey. And their customer problem to solve is; which message, for whom, on which channel to be sent when and how often. Specifically within the audience domain, they have reached both a size and complexity that requires additional support. The essential capability of figuring out which groups of customers should receive which message (=‘audience’) has opportunities to improve, for example in advanced segmentation (ML based). The complexity is amplified by the current situation where both buy and build scenarios need to get developed in parallel. The current audience team consist of 12 members and has an ever-evolving tech stack. Everything the client owns is home-grown backend services within GCP. That implies an ever existing need to remain simple and clean - while expanding. The Product Specialist will be focussed on optimal value creation. In essence that is, balancing new development and required maintenance. How do they keep increasing the relevancy of our audiences, to reach our customers on their omnichannel journeys? Requirements: Analytical skills - it’s no rocket science though the age and size of the product brings substantial intellectual challenge. Engineering knowledge is not needed, but a high-level understanding of what different technologies is called and capable off (within GCP) would be beneficial. Product mindset / experience - To not get lost in details and opinions but remain focussed on client value and impact, rooted in data. A nice-to-have therefore is experience in an entrepreneurial environment Interpersonal skills - Cross cultural, cross organisational requires style flexibility and self-awareness. Location: The majority of the team is in Malmö. Amsterdam & India are also an option, as well as remote. It's an asset if you are based in Sweden.
