emagine is looking for a Senior Java engineer for a very interesting assignment.
**Start: Mid-December (could be eaerlier)**
**Duration: Until further notice**
**Location: Stockholm, hybrid between 1-2 days at the office**
**About the assignment:**
We are looking for an developer to work on the integration of direct data sourcing from SKAN, which involves understanding several of our systems and sourcing data related to AML (Anti-Money Laundering) transaction monitoring, including purchase, banking, and consumer data.
The Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism area has launched a Customer-Centric Transaction Monitoring initiative, aimed at creating a robust transaction monitoring engine and reducing manual work in AML and CTF processes.
This initiative focuses on three key areas:
1. **Direct Data Sourcing from SKAN, Not Lakehouse**: SKAN, which is currently used for fraud detection, has significant data overlap with that needed for transaction monitoring. After our initial discovery phase, we plan to expand SKAN to include banking data and other data points, streamlining data integration for both AML & CTF use cases, including transaction monitoring, fraud detection, and banking fraud prevention.
2. **Unified Policy and Red Flag Management in IRIS**: IRIS is widely utilized across the organization for policy development. Preliminary research indicates that IRIS could also support AML policy creation, allowing for shared, reusable policies across fraud, AML, and CTF use cases. This will simplify policy management and increase consistency across applications.
3. **Expansion of Co-Pilot Capabilities and Drafting SAR Narratives**: We are leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) to draft narratives in multiple languages, ensuring they align with templates required by Financial Intelligence Units (FIUs).
**Your profile:**
Java, Kafka, AWS, Postgres, Dynamo
Previous experience within the same area is a huge plus
