Senior Backend Developer

Job description:

Are you passionate about crafting efficient and robust back-end systems? We are on the hunt for a Senior Back-end Developer specializing in .NET Core (C#) to help shape the future of performance and reporting management tools in the banking domain.
Locations: Finland or Sweden
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: 30th June 2025
Allocation: 100%
Onsite: 1-2 times per week at the office (Helsinki or Stockholm)
What You’ll Do:
* Design and develop new core functionalities.
* Manage quality and defects in existing systems.
* Collaborate with a dynamic team to enhance a cutting-edge performance management tool.
Must-Have Skills:
* Strong command of C# and the .NET framework.
* Expertise in ASP.NET Core.
* Proven experience in API development.
* Skilled in SQL Server database design and development.
* Competence in troubleshooting and maintaining legacy code.
* Solid foundation in software development principles, including object-oriented programming (OOP).
Nice-to-Have Skills:
* Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
* Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
* Understanding of web application security best practices.
* Knowledge of cloud computing concepts.
* Experience with testing frameworks.
Tech Stack You’ll Use:
* Visual Studio (or Visual Studio Code).
* SOAP UI, Swagger UI, Postman.
* Bitbucket, Jenkins.
* SQL Server Management Studio.
* ASP.NET Core (C#), Transact-SQL.
* Front-end basics: Angular, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and CSS frameworks like Bootstrap.
