Senior Backend Developer (.NET Core)

Job description:

**Emagine are now looking for a Senior Backend Developer (.NET Core) to one of our Nordic banking clients.
Start date:** 2024-12-06
**End date:** 2025-06-30**Location:** Stockholm (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)**
Detailed description of work task to be carried out**
Develop new core functionality and perform quality defect mgmt. for a performance and reporting management tool
**Must have skills:**
- Strong understanding of C# programming language and the .NET framework
- Expert in ASP.NET Core C#
- Experienced in API development
- Experience with database design and development using SQL Server
- Ability to work with and troubleshoot legacy code
- Familiarity with software development principles, including object-oriented programming
•Previous Banking Experience
**Nice to have skills:**
- Experience with version control systems, such as Git
- Ability to write clear, maintainable, and efficient code
- Understanding of web application security best practices
- Understanding of cloud computing concepts
- Experience with testing frameworks

- Visual Studio Professional (or Visual Studio Code)
- SOAP UI / Swagger UI / Postman
- Bitbucket
