Job description:
We are strengthening our backend team for the EoP project and are looking for senior backend software developers who can contribute immediately in an active development phase. This is an opportunity to work hands-on with a skilled onsite team and help accelerate delivery of critical backend features.
As a Senior Backend Software Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality backend solutions within an enterprise-scale environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Backend design and implementation
* Code reviews and technical guidance
* Unit and integration testing with a strong quality mindset
* Troubleshooting, performance tuning, and optimization
* Supporting deployment and release activities
* Leveraging modern AI tooling to enhance software development efficiency
**Required Skills & Experience**
**Must have:**
* Senior-level experience in backend software development
* Strong Java expertise
* Solid experience with REST/HTTP-based APIs
* Strong focus on code quality and test-driven development
* Proven track record delivering backend solutions in enterprise projects
* Experience using modern AI tools to support software development
**Nice to have:**
* Kafka or other event-driven architectures
* Oracle databases and relational data modeling
* Experience with Quarkus or similar modern application frameworks
Location: Karlskrona office at least 3 days per week
