**✔️The Position**
As experienced Data Engineer, you play a pivotal role in advancing and scaling data and AI products that help improve patient lives all over the world. You will work in cross-functional product teams, including colleagues from Research & Early Development and Digital Data & IT (DD&IT) organisation to build scalable data products in our enterprise data platform.
**✔️Main responsibilities include:**
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop and maintain data pipelines
* Improve data availability and validation by acting as a liaison between data scientists and IT teams through data products.
* Ingest, integrate, and curate data from various internal and external sources, with varying degrees of maturity in availability access requirements, data formats and underlying technologies.
* Use IaC and CI/CD to deliver infrastructure components to the AWS environments
* Develop automated test to ensure data accuracy and quality.
* Develop, promote, and implement best practices, standards, and tools to enable seamless and effective data management.
**✔️Candidate Profile**
* Strong proficiency in Python programming
* Proficiency in developing ETL pipelines with Apache Spark, Glue and Delta Lake
* SQL knowledge and experience with Data Warehouse concepts
* Automated unit testing and code quality inspection
* Working experience with Git, Azure pipelines and Infrastructure-as-code i.e. CDK
* Experience with AWS services i.e. S3, Lambda functions, Athena
* Working in pharma domain or other regulated area is considered an advantage.
