Overall mission description
We are now looking for a Senior developer to Karolinska Institutet.
The mission is to, with the help of a deep understanding of patient needs and behavior, advanced programming and statistical models, create visualized basis for assessing future disease risk and future disease progression in chronic inflammation disorders.
Senior developer
We are looking for a person who will have long-term experience in the development of mobile applications and websites where information is visualized based on the patient’s needs. Further, experience in describing risks is also requested by static methods, in collaboration with experts in epidemiology and clinical forecasting.
As a full-stack developer, we are looking for a person for ongoing development in TypeScript and React. As a team member, you will participate in the team’s activities and actively contribute to constant learning and continuous improvement, such as through pair programming and interest in the product and technology in both frontend and backend. Active participation in the improvement of front-end architecture and development principles. The team is working agile and flexible.
Extensions and arrangements are made in consultation between the customer (KI) and the consultant. We estimate that the project from May 2025 to December 2025 for this consultant will include between 50 and 100 hours of work.
• Scale requirements
At least 5 years of experience in Javascript/TypeScript or Python
At least 3 years of experience in K8, React.js and/or React-native
Working with Agile Development Processes
Speak and write fluent Swedish and English

Pandas or Jupyter
Built data analytics stacks using ELT
Developed medical devices (SaMD/MDSW)
