For our British client from the high-tech health care industry, we realize a recruitment process on the position **Senior Embedded Software Engineer (Linux).**
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Develop connectivity solution for medical devices covering user and backend interfaces
* Update Embedded Linux distributions considering technical and regulatory requirements
* Develop high quality software for Healthcare Devices according to medical standards
* Make key technology recommendations and decisions throughout the project lifecycle
* Effectively communicate with customer and project team to solve complex technical challenges
* Strive to ensure that best practice is followed, and suggest improvements as necessary
**Requirements:**
* At least 10 years of experience working as Embedded Systems Engineer or similar position
* Considerable knowledge of C / C +
- and embedded Linux (device drivers, system libraries, kernel)
* Experience with wireless communication stacks (BLE, WiFi, etc)
* Experience in integration and configuration of Linux based platforms and build environments (Yocto, buildroot, etc)
* Degree in Computer Science or Electronics Engineering or closely related discipline
* The ability to work independently in a customer project
* Proactive, open, reliable team player
* Proficient spoken & written English
**Experience in any of the following areas is a distinct advantage:**
* Knowledge and experience in Python, Unit testing , CI/CD, dockers
* Proven delivery of successful products to market, working across the entire project lifecycle
* Experience in the pharmaceutical, life science or digital health industry, experience with ISO13485 and IEC62304
