Senior Java Backend Developer, Project S3, Search, Sort, Submit The good force in the Swedish food industry. That's how we want to describe the organization. Would you like to be part of developing Sweden's greenest brand? We are looking for a senior Backend Developer with expertise in Java, Azure and TypeScript to strengthen a newly started project "S3", which stands for Article Search, Sort and Submit. The project team is currently developing a new application which will be used by staff in stores to assist them in finding the article information they need and to simplify their daily work. You will join a project team of 7 persons, consultants and employees, where we work closely together to learn from, and support each other, always with primary focus on getting things done and delivering value to the staff in stores. This project will have close collaboration with several other internal teams so collaboration will be part of your daily way of working. We work with an agile mindset and values in the teams and our organization adapt the SAFe framework. You will be responsible for: · Developing the new application together with the other developers and the UX-designer in the project. · Project Azure environment and setup, supported by internal Infra team · Cross-functional collaboration with the business and other development teams To be successful as a Senior Backend Developer, we expect you to have the following competence: (in order of importance) · Experience working with Azure Cloud Technologies and Environment · Extensive experience building structured Spring boot microservices based on API services (REST/OData) · Proficient in Java 17 and above · Understanding of Databases (SQL/PostgreSQL) · Experience in unit/integration testing · Experience working with Docker containerization and Kubernetes · Experience working with external integrations · Experience working with code optimization and performance improvements · Experience of agile way of working and Jira · English skills are mandatory, Swedish is a merit It's a merit if you have: · DevOps experience (CI/CD, Azure) · Experience of SAP ERP, ex S/4 · Experience of retail and working with article data in larger organizations Who are you? With good collaboration skills you're able to discuss issues and justify the choice of solutions with both technical specialists and people without technical knowledge. We are looking for a colleague who has structure, drive and ambition to develop this new app from current prototype until we deploy it in production and ensure it's working in the hands of the end users.
