Senior Software Architect – Autonomous Development

Here is the updated text: As a Senior Software Architect, you will develop complex real-time solutions for safety-critical systems throughout the product lifecycle, work with functional safety, and meet modern requirements for vehicle cybersecurity. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the platform meets the highest standards for performance and security. Education and experience: MSc in computer science or equivalent. At least 5 years of experience in developing embedded systems. Documented experience in architect roles within software development, especially for real-time and safety-critical systems. Language: Fluent English in speech and writing. Knowledge of Swedish is meritorious. Desirable experience: Knowledge of Scania's electric systems and/or embedded vehicle systems. Experience of architect work within Scania or another OEM manufacturer. Experience of working according to the SAFe framework and as an architect in an agile release train environment. Competence in autonomous development. Specifications: In-depth knowledge of ECU systems, including software development in combination with hardware for the automotive industry, is required. A background check will be performed before the start of employment. Mainly on site in Södertälje, with the possibility of 2-3 days of remote work per week depending on work tasks. Start: Immediately. End date: December 2025.
