Job description:
**About the Role:** We are seeking an experienced Senior Consultant to join a team focused on developing automation and tools for network installations, service provisioning, and operations for a large-scale backbone network. You will be part of a cross-functional team collaborating on cutting-edge solutions to enhance network automation capabilities. This position combines remote work with on-site collaboration. You are expected to work on-site approximately three days a week in either Helsinki or Jyväskylä, with monthly full-team gatherings in Helsinki. **Key Responsibilities:** * Develop and maintain automation solutions for network installations and operations. * Collaborate with team members and domain experts to design and implement scalable systems. * Work in an agile/lean environment, continuously improving team processes and workflows. * Contribute to the enhancement of team operations and development processes. **Required Skills & Experience:** * Strong expertise in JVM-based programming languages, preferably Kotlin. * Hands-on experience with containerization and Kubernetes. * Proven experience with event-driven architectures and messaging systems (e.g., Kafka). * Proficiency with TypeScript (or JavaScript) and React for front-end development. * Familiarity with agile/lean principles in software development. * Fluent in Finnish (working language). * Must be eligible for a basic-level security clearance, requiring a minimum of five years of residence in Finland. **Preferred Skills:** Experience with graph databases, especially Neo4j. Familiarity with Golang. Knowledge of IP/MPLS domain or other networking expertise.
