**Senior Software Engineer to DeLaval**

Now, one of our development teams is looking for an experienced software developer who wants to be involved in driving the continued development of our embedded solutions.
**Roll and responsibilities**
We work with product development from idea to finished solution, while continuously developing and improving existing systems and components. We mainly develop embedded software in Java, where the requirements are specified in Polarion and also form the basis for our automated test cases.
We follow an agile work methodology with 10-week increment and 2-week sprints to ensure regular deliveries and a clear pace in development work. Collaboration is a central part of our everyday life, and we work closely with both the requirements team and the integration test to create robust and well-functioning solutions.
In order to ensure quality of our products, we have access to our own test environments, and if necessary, we also carry out tests on real robotic systems on farms. This ensures that our solutions work in real-world environments and meet customer needs in the best possible way.

You have sufficient experience in software development to take an architecture responsibility.
You have a master’s degree in computer science or equivalent education.
You enjoy solving complex problems and like new challenges.
You master Swedish and English in speech and writing.
You have experience in agile working methods.
It is also useful if you have:
Knowledge in Python, C or C+
(used in older systems).
Experience in writing automated test cases.
Experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, Polarion, NetBeans and Git.
Code quality assurance tools.
