Job description:
To our customer within the City of Gothenburg, we are looking for a system architect to enter an ongoing development project that is run by the company’s in-house department together with the supplier. The role involves taking a full approach to architecture, technology choice and development direction – both for current code base and future development.
**Roll description:**
The system architect is responsible for ensuring the system’s technical solutions are sustainable, safe, scalable and in line with the needs of the business. Concrete responsibilities:
Architectural leadership; define and document a target architecture for the system.
*Develop and communicate architecture principles
Ensure separation of responsibilities (frontend, backend, data warehouse etc).
Establish and document code standards and ensure that these are followed in the development team.
Ensure that the code is continuously reviewed and reviewed for best practice vulnerabilities (e.g. automated code analysis, dependency management, OWASP).
Create and implement rules, processes and tool support to maintain the code standard (e.g. code reviews, static code analysis, CI/CD rules).
The system architect will serve as a bridge between technology and operations, and be a technical ball plank for developers and management. The architect is responsible for documenting and communicating architectural and code-based decisions, as well as ensuring high-quality development and long-term sustainability.

Experience with leadership
Experience in setting up business systems on a larger scale
