Service Designer / Concept development consultant

Here is the updated text: We are seeking a Service Designer/Consultant to support the concept phase of new product and service development. In this role, you will work closely with product managers and stakeholders to identify and conceptualize innovative product opportunities, secure funding, and design development roadmaps. Key Responsibilities: * Concept Development: Identify and explore new product areas within the organization, creating initial concepts that align with strategic goals. * Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate discussions with product managers, service leaders, and stakeholders to prioritize and refine concepts. * Design Sprint Leadership: Plan, execute, and improve design sprints focused on early-stage concept and design work for digital touchpoints. * Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal design teams, enterprise architects, and leadership to align technical feasibility with design strategy. * Advocacy for Design: Promote the value of design and service design thinking within the organization, helping embed these practices into strategic and operational processes. Qualifications and Skills: * Experience in Service Design: Proven background in service design, concept development, or similar roles, with strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills. * Design Thinking Expertise: Skilled in planning and executing design sprints, workshops, and conceptual roadmaps. * Technical Understanding: Basic technical knowledge of user interface design and digital touchpoints. * Strategic Perspective: Experience in high-level roadmap development and identifying concepts for funding and prioritization. * Collaborative Approach: Ability to integrate into an organization and identify high-impact opportunities for design-led initiatives. * Advocacy for Design: Passion for promoting the value of systematic design and its business impact.
