Job description:
To our customer DIGG we are looking for a Solution Architect to the Connection area.
**Conditions and the nature of the mission:**
Digg needs to reinforce the developments in the Connection area, which includes support for the connection of public actors and suppliers to Digg’s services within one (Sweden’s digital infrastructure) and related remuneration.
and fee solutions. The assignment refers to a solution architect responsible for leading, coordinating and developing the technical architecture of several collaborative IT services and integrations. The role includes responsibility for technical target architecture, API design, integration patterns, data modeling and architecture for both proprietary services and configured standard platforms. The solution architect is responsible for turning processes, information models and functional requirements from business architects and business developers into technical solution architecture and design through consistent data modeling, API specifications and integration solutions, and ensuring that design and implementation in code and configured platforms comply with set requirements and established architecture principles. The proprietary business logic is mainly realized in Java-based microservices (Quarkus and Spring Boot) as well as in some parts through configuration and automation in Atlassian Jira (ScriptRunner/Groovy). The role includes taking technical leadership in the development team, ensuring that functional and non-functional requirements are correctly translated into analysis, design, implementation and configuration, and to conduct or support technical review and quality assurance of solutions.
**The technical environment includes:**
Java-based microservices (Quarkus and Spring Boot)
REST-based APIs
Vue and Typescript for Frontend
Operating in Red Hat Linux
Container-based platform (OpenShift/Kubernetes)
CI/CD pipelines
- Integrations against Atlassian Jira, Economic Systems (Unit4), the Swedish Tax Agency (Navet) and the Swedish Companies Registry (SSBTGO)
The area covers several collaborative areas of activity where operational responsibility for regulations, fee models and remuneration flows is distributed. The solution architect shall ensure technical cohesion, consistent data models, robust integration patterns and clear system limits across these areas.
The consultant will work closely with business architects and business developers as well as IT development teams and platform managers.
**Requirements:**
Have experience in designing solution architectures containing integrations between proprietary systems and administrative platforms, including design and management of REST-based APIs.
- have experience in data modeling, database design and technical design in microservice solutions.
Have experience in software architecture in Java-based microservice environment that is operated in container-based platforms such as OpenShift or Kubernetes.
have experience in developing, analysing and implementing functional and non-functional requirements for technical architecture and solution design at the system level.
Have experience in architecture for identity
- and eligibility solutions (IAM) for both users and systems, such as federated login, authorisation or integration with e-ID.
Have experience in taking technical leadership in development teams as well as actively reviewing and quality-assuring design and implementation in code and configuring platforms in relation to set requirements and architecture principles.
Have experience in developing structured architectural documentation that describes and motivates system components, interfaces, dependencies, design principles and architecture choices.
Speak and write Swedish and English unhindered.
**The Consultant shall attach one (1) to this Procurement relevant reference assignment. * *
**Reference Mission shall have:**
- have completed a maximum of three (3) years before the last day of the tender.
- if the assignment is not completed, it shall have been in progress for at least six (6) months.
have covered at least 600 hours
- have been carried out on behalf of the public sector (governmental authority, municipality or region, i.e. an organisation with a clear political governance and where the activities are financed by tax means)
The hired consultant shall be able to legitimize with ID documents approved in Sweden (e.g. SIS card, driving license, ID card).
**Meritation:**
Have experience working with solutions where Quarkus and/or Spring Boot are included.
Experience architecture and integration where Atlassian Jira is used as a platform or process support.
have experience in integration against external basic data services for personal data (Navet) or organizational data (SSBTGO).

Safety review:**
This assignment may require subscribers of a security protection agreement level three (3) during the contract period.
Due to this, Digg has the following requirements for delivery.
- The delivery of consulting services shall take place within the borders of Sweden, unless otherwise agreed.
Equipment from Digg should be used, other equipment is not permitted unless otherwise agreed.
- tenderers are responsible for ensuring that a victimized consultant is able to carry out a safety review.
The safety review aims to assess whether the consultant is loyal and reliable from a security point of view.
**StartDate**: 2026-05-04
** End date:** 2027-04-30
**Plats:** Stationing place should be Sundsvall or Stockholm.
Working time/Scope:** 40 h/v (100%)
**Distance work:** Work can be done remotely, but the consultant should work at Digg's office at least one (1) day a week or more, when the business so requires. It may be more or less in different periods, depending on the task of the hand. The physical meetings take place either in Stockholm or in Sundsvall.
** Ability to extend**: Possibility of two (2) extensions á six (6) months, however as long as 2028-04-30. Digg has the right to exercise an option to extend cancelled assignments up to 50% of the requested assignment, provided that the framework contract period is not exceeded by more than six months.

**Agreement terms:**
The terms of the assignment will be based on Ework’s framework agreement with the customer.
**Travel:**
The consultant shall be prepared to attend physical meetings both in Sundsvall and Stockholm when the business so requires, such as the first time of the assignment.
For example, if the consultant is stationed in Sundsvall, Digg stands for travel.
- and/or hotel costs if physical meeting is to take place in Stockholm, and vice versa.
Digg does not replace travel
- or hotel costs to the location of the station. The consultant’s trips to and from the stationing location are included in the hourly rate. Digg does not pay any contracts
or travel time costs. All trips ordered by Digg are booked by Digg according to our meeting.
