To our customer We are looking for a consultant for the task below:
**Description:**
The assignment involves contributing to the implementation and management of a Kafka platform with high demands on availability and security in a local (on prem) environment.
It also includes building and maintaining data flows that integrate a wide variety of databases, APIs and various protocols.
The work also includes ongoing management, monitoring and troubleshooting of the solutions to ensure stable operation and continuous improvement.
The role involves working closely with colleagues within their own group as well as adjacent teams, where the consultant is expected to act technically and actively contribute to the dissemination of knowledge of solutions and technology.
** Qualifying requirements (Scale requirements): **
* The consultant should be able to express himself in speech and writing in Swedish.
At least 5 years of experience as a solution architect.
Documented experience of multiple missions to set up and administer Apache Kafka in on-premise environments with a pronounced focus on high availability and safety. This includes practical experience in logging, monitoring and certificate management.
Documented experience of GitOps and infrastructure as code.
Documented experience of container technology and orchestration locally.
* Documented experience with Kafka Connect with good ability to configure connectors mother a wide variety of databases, APIs and protocols.
Documented experience in implementing self-built components in Kafka
**Meritational competence (Requirements): **
Experience in designing Kafka architecture for horizontal scaling
Experience in stream processing
Start Date: As soon as possible after approved register control
End date: 31 Dec 2026
Option for extension: 25 Jun 2027, the Police Authority may use all or part of the option period.
Location: In the office 3 days a week

Information about security testing:
Police authorities place high demands on consultant safety
and privacy awareness. Safety review with register control and subscription of security agreements under the Security Act (2018:585) may be conducted by consultant and consultant employers before The contract can be claimed. In some cases, Swedish citizenship is required.
Evaluation of tenders: (Ework makes the selection)
Ework makes a first selection and presents tenders to the customer for final evaluation.
Interview:
Consultant/ Supplier may, if necessary, be called an interview to determine qualification requirements.
