Solution Engineer – Detect & Respond Platform

**Assignment Description** We are looking for an experienced Solution Engineer to join the Detect & Respond Platform Team for one of Fujitsu’s key customers. This is a senior, highly specialized role requiring strong expertise within Microsoft security technologies and the ability to work independently in complex environments. You will collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical specifications, design and implement solutions within your domain, and support ongoing platform operations. **Role Responsibilities** * Translate stakeholder needs into clear technical requirements and specifications * Design, develop, test, and implement solutions within assigned security technologies * Create and maintain high-quality technical documentation * Propose improvements, enhancements, and new platform functionality * Support delivery, operations, troubleshooting, and incident handling * Collaborate with cross-functional teams across a global organization **Seniority Expectations** * This is a specialized senior individual contributor role with high autonomy. You are expected to: * Work independently with minimal supervision * Lead or manage small to medium projects or processes * Coach and mentor junior team members * Handle complex technical problems with innovative solutions * Influence decisions regarding policies, practices, and procedures **Required Skills / Must-Have Qualifications** * Microsoft Defender XDR expertise * Microsoft Defender for Endpoint expertise * Microsoft Sentinel expertise * Strong SIEM experience * Background from large global organizations * Excellent English communication skills (Swedish is a plus) * Strong understanding of security best practices * Knowledge of threat detection, incident response, and vulnerability assessment * Strong collaboration and communication capabilities * Analytical and problem-solving mindset * Ability to maintain thorough documentation **Meriting Skills / Nice to Have** * CNAPP experience * Defender for OT * Scripting & automation (PowerShell, Python, etc.) * Azure security certification familiarity * Product-led ways of working * Linux knowledge * DevOps: pipelines, GitHub, automation * Cybersecurity processes & awareness **Experience & Professional Level** * High level of generalist competence or deep specialist experience * Proven experience delivering high-quality consulting services * Ability to manage groups or lead initiatives * Very strong independence in daily work
