For our client, a financial company, we realize a recruitment process on the position **SQL Python Tester.**
Main Resposibilities:
* To read all the documents and understand what needs to be tested.
* The tester has the responsibility to analyse and create data.
* Test cases execution in qtest.
* Ability to manage test cases (files) using Git (version control system
* Create repeatable integration tests that provide full regression with automation approach .
* create manual tests (if automation is not possible) and update Release Test Result confluence accordingly
* Carry out regression testing every time when changes are made to the code to fix defects in Automation approach
* Create automatable test cases to validate if requirement are valid.
* find problems in the code & documentation and register bugs (the more the better) in Jira
* create manual tests (if automation is not possible) and update Release Test Result confluence accordingly
* conduct and facilitate User Acceptance Test meeting to demonstrate testing results to approver
* Tester should write Strong SQL query to validate the data between source system and target database with all possible test scenarios (example : Datawarehouse/database testing which includes Metadata Validation, Data Uniformity ,Data Accuracy, Data Completeness, Data Transformation, Data Duplication, Null Data check, Data Truncation & Rounding, Source data validation , Target data validation and also based on business requirements etc)
* And tester should have great experience to automate all the test cases using robot framework ( example : Tester should automate all the applicable test cases from bitbucket or snowflake to qtest with proper version control) for CI/CD implementation .
* Regarding testing team : Its consist of two members (1 test manager and 1 tester)
* Test Manager will take care all QA related process and delivery artifacts .
* Tester has to take care above mentioned test activities .
An ideal candidate profile:
Tester with automation skills
1\. Tester should have good knowledge in SQL (Database testing
- Mandatory)
2\. Automation knowledge for CI/CD implementation and tools integration (Mandatory
- ability to read and understand Python code)
Good to have:
1.programming experience (with whatever scripting language)
2.ability to manage test cases (files) using Git (version control system)
3.experience with qTest
4.Snowflake database knowledge
