Welcome to the APC Team. The team adds value by increasing production stability and cost efficiency while creating and deploying new solutions to customers. As a Test Automation Engineer, you’ll play a valuable role in enhancing the quality of solution delivery with a focus on automation.
Automated test cases implementation in coordination with developers, product owners and business experts
Eliminating manual testing and trivial activities
Gathering and managing test data needed for testing
Monitoring, debugging and documenting test results
Proactively driving improvements to automated test coverage
Involvement in all stages of testing process development, from time to time manual testing
Responsibilities include:
Design, implement, and execute automated test cases in collaboration with developers, product owners, and business experts, reducing manual testing and streamlining the testing process.
Analyze user stories to create test scenarios, data, and cases for each sprint, gathering and managing all required test data.
Develop comprehensive test plans and cases, ensuring they are reviewed and signed off by stakeholders.
Collaborate closely with the scrum master, developers, and product owners to assess project requirements, define scope, and evaluate potential risks.
Monitor, debug, and document test outcomes, carrying out regression testing with each code change to ensure stability.
Use JIRA and QTest to log and manage defects, conducting defect triage sessions with stakeholders as needed.
Coordinate all integration testing activities, overseeing go-live preparations and post-go-live support actions.

Your experience and background:
Good proficiency in automation testing using Java 11, Spring Boot.
Good knowledge of creating BDD test framework from scratch.
Good SQL proficiency.
Good knowledge of Selenium Automation
Knowledge of performance testing tools
Knowledge of Docker
Good in using CI/CD tools, preferably Bamboo.
Fluent in using GIT
Good knowledge of functional, automated, exploratory and regression testing.
Familiar with release management
Good English both in writing and speaking
Prior experience with manual testing and test automation
Knowledge of API testing practices
Experience with continuous integration tools like Bamboo or Jenkins
Experienced in implementing BDD approach using 'Given-When-Then' and familiar with tools like Cucumber/Gherkin
Willing to drive releases for the project
General testing knowledge to the level of ISTQB Foundation Level (ISTQB certified)
Ability to drive QA activities across the delivery team
Nice to have:
Basic knowledge of Spark
Basic knowledge of Apache Kafka
Knowledge of Front end GUI automation of Windows based applications
