Test Engineer

Job description:

Customer seeks an experienced test engineer with expertise in both hard
- and software testing to the Verification & Validation department (V&V). The department currently consists of eight people, and in the role you will work in product projects where you represent V&V and collaborate with several different disciplines.
The work includes test development, execution and reporting based on product requirements. You will also test existing products in connection with hardware updates.
and software. Working closely together, teams require an ability to both work independently and take a cohesive role in testing, verifying and validating delivery from different development teams.
We are looking for you with a strong technical interest and broad knowledge, as our cameras are part of modern ecosystems with different cloud services. The work covers both manual and automated software tests, which requires experience working with scripts.

**Technologies and tools**
We work with the following tools and techniques, which are desirable competencies:
**Zephyr Scale** (test management)
**R4J** (requirement management)
**Jira** (issue management)
**Confluence** (documentation)
**Python** (script development)
We use the **Robot Framework** for automated test development, and experience of this is meritorious.
