**Role Description:**
We are looking for a talented UI designer with an understanding of industrial applications and frontend frameworks to collaborate on an exciting project of developing our next generation of Condition Monitoring Solutions. The end goal of our solutions is to provide actionable insights based on machine data in order to make industrial machines run longer. We are at the center of turning SKF’s strategy of intelligent and clean growth into reality. The project involves developing a visually appealing web application interface that offers an exceptional user experience and allows our users to detect machinery issues confidently and quickly.
**Your responsibilities and day to day tasks:**
* Designing intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for our condition monitoring application, considering technical constraints and frontend frameworks.
* Conducting research to understand needs, behaviors, and industry standards relevant to the project.
* Creating wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to communicate design concepts effectively.
* Iterating on designs based on feedback from stakeholders, usability testing, and technical evaluations.
* Providing design assets and specifications to frontend developers for implementation.
* Offering expertise to guide design decisions and address technical challenges.
* Collaborate closely with our teams to comprehend project requirements and objectives.
**We expect you to have/be:**
* Proven experience in UI/UX design, preferably in the industrial sector, with a portfolio showcasing relevant projects.
* Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or similar software.
* Understanding of frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Svelte) and the ability to effectively communicate with frontend developers.
* Familiarity with technical limitations and considerations when designing UI for web-based applications.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
* Fluent in English and Swedish
